Guides from zero
Start from zero
For people who know nothing about IT. No jargon, no question too basic, one small step at a time.
The guides are being written now. This is the planned path, in order: each step needs only the ones before it.
Files and folders
What a file is, where it lives on your computer and how to find it again.
The internet and the browser
What happens when you open a website, and how to spot a fake one.
Installing a program safely
Only from the official site, and what to click (and not click) during the install.
Updates
Why they matter, and how to let them happen without stress.
Passwords
One password manager instead of a hundred sticky notes, plus two step login.
Backups
A copy of what matters, in a routine simple enough to keep doing.
Your first open source switch
Move your documents to LibreOffice and keep working with everyone else.
Your own AI agent
Give an assistant one clear job, check its work and decide what it may do alone.
